Seems to have more than it's share of UFO stories. So far, I can't find anything in area media regarding the story, but not too much time to look. From the description, could easily be a meteorite impact.

Still references same source though. I'd look for other, established sources to also report on it. If such an event, surely others saw it, regardless of what the impact was....

What about the contents of the story? Can you chase down any local info in the newspapers, radio, TV, or word of mouth etc.

Could be an airliner, could be a meteor, could be anything, as we do not know the size of it.

Pretoria seems to be a hotbed of ufo activity:

Wow birddawg, this is eerie. I just posted the same article, whats eerie is it has the same "header" including the question mark. Maybe its an omen that we should look further into this!.

I will keep looking to see if i can find any other source. I got this one out of the coast to coast web page.
