Newz Forum: BASEBALL: Palmeiro Suspended for Steroids

We finally hear our first big name in the steroid suspension list, but I did not expect to hear Raffy's name first. He claims he had no clue they were in his system, but I'm not sure whether I believe him or not. Many I have talked to say that this could hurt that potential HOF spot that has always been somewhat debatable.

Rafael Palmeiro was suspended 10 days for violating Major League Baseball's steroids policy Monday, nearly five months after the Baltimore Orioles first baseman told Congress that "I have never used steroids. Period."

Shocking announcement. But not too surprising, going form leading the league in hits to getting all those homers....

yeah... not surprising... I'm just surprised he was the first big name out.
