I have no explanation...

Currently I am directing an independent film. The premises is based on true events. It is based on my younger brother and I growing up. We lived in a big old house on the East side of the U.S. near one of the Ley Lines, though I doubt that's of any greater importance. We've had everything from important objects literally dissapearing, objects moving, cameras for the film being drained and gaining power, clocks starting and stopping: even broken ones, my bed shaking, and voices at night time, footsteps, apparitions, channels changing on the T.V. and no cell phones work. It's mainly centered around me. Can anyone postulate a theory as to what's going on? The script for the movie is based on far out ideas.

A great deal of what you describe sounds like poltergeist activity.

Poltergeist activity tends to occur around a single person called an agent or a focus. Foci are often, but not limited to, pubescent children. According to researchers at the Rhine Center, the "poltergeist effect" is the outward manifestation of psychological trauma.

Are the experiences continuing? You say "growing up" but also imply the present tense. If they have stopped, at what age was it and are you still in the house?

Batteries gaining power is interesting in itself. I've heard of paranormal investigators having batteries drained, but never the reverse. Seems to imply an energy phenomenon beyond a spiritual presence. That would also tie in with the cell phone problem.

One more question (or two) if you don't mind. How many and how detailed are the apparitions? Do they tend to follow the same patterns with the same appearance or do they vary quite a bit? That and the voices may point the direction for a few ideas.
