Which Spiritual Resolutions Are You Making For 2007?

I resolve to:

1) Pray more.
2) Attend church more.
3) Read the Bible more.
4) Help other human beings as much as I can.

well, they aren't exactly spiritual, but they relate to things other pepole find spiritual

1) reread and annotate the koran 3 times (bringing the total to 4)
2) reread and annotate the bible twice (bringing the total to 4)
3) watch "the god who wasn't there"
4) reread and annotate the gospel of the flying spaghetti monster
5) rewatch jesus camp

It is my belief that many scientists have an extremely competitive nature, even if this nature goes against the will of God. Scientists frequently try to compete against all other humans for self-glory and thus miss the biggest picture of life: to love and worship God. Many scientists even attempt to compete with God, which is a never-ending battle that can never be won.

I would say that many scientists suffer from a Competitive Self-glory Disorder.

also, they do not believe in said god, so there is no will to go against for them

no, scientists actually seem to have a deep love for humanity and wish to better it with their inventions

my dad is a man of science (phd in solid-state semiconducter non-theoretical physics) and he's alos a deeply spiritual man
though i do tend to give him crap about it
