Luiz Gerez has reappeared Beunos Aires, Mr.Gerez being a witness in an Argentinean police cover up of the 1978-82 military regimes crimes.

Around 30,000 people were killed or disappeared during the regime, and Mr. Gerez was a witness in court of a former police chief charged with human abuse. Luis Patti was recognised by Mr. Gerez as being one of the men who tortured him during the regime. Mr. Gerez was kidnapped after Mr. Patti was taken to court.

The other witness in the trial is still missing.
