I'm tempted to just say earth lights, if that can be a commonly accepted phenomenon, like are seen at Popocatepetl from time to time, they are both
active after all. Other than that, a helicopter doing a survey perhaps?
I doubt there would be any helicopters up around MSH at night - unless there was a search and rescue mission going on - similar to the search for the
climbers on Mt Hood last week. It could have been something close to the camera (clump of snow?) caught in any lights that may still be on at JRO -
although, I'm not sure if they even have any lights on there when it's closed for the winter...
