When you can't debate the topic, attack the author.

As far as I'm concerned his behavior IS part of the topic. He's a hypocrite. He's here whining because some people slam Islam in general and yet he goes around the boards slamming Americans using the same generalizations and same tactics.

If he wants to clean up the boards from people using generalizations and using un-credible sources ... then he should start with HIMSELF.

Understanding comes from engaging and galvanizing people in discussion. That will open the circles of hatred so that we can get beyond them.

the further we live apart from each other, the less we disclose and the more we are scared of the "other".
We must find a way to break down the walls both in muslim and non muslim comunities and engage in this necessary dialogue.

DO not be afraid to fail in debating the ignorant and or the uneducated, it is a necessary step in moving to a better understanding of cultures/traditions/religions and will, i believe lead to a better world on the whole or at least a better informed opinion on the cited subjects. After all "he who never failed at anything never made anything".
And i might add issues as technical as this one is, is not solved over night.

It's hard and risky to take the time to listen. The risk is, you may change your mind.

Skeptic said it best in his above post, altough its hard and risky to listen it is riskier still not to correct error.
