Tottenham: Riquelme dont want Spurs move

Juan Roman Riquelme is ready to snub any approach from Tottenham in favour of extending his stay at Villarreal.

The Argentine schemer has been a major hit with the Yellow Submarines and is keen for the club to thrash out a permanent deal with his current owners Barcelona.

Spurs have been linked with a summer bid for the midfielder, with manager Martin Jol seemingly keen on adding some craft to his engine room, but Riquelme has no intention of uprooting from Spain.

this guy is absulote class, i really like him as a player and the only reason he aint at barca is cos they have ronaldihno, when we played them he was great, threads passes, beats players with ease, scores goals. the only thing about him negatvie is he aint that fast.

spurs must be on the lookout for an attacking midfielder, thats him and rosicky been linked now
