Tottenham Hotspur are rumoured to considering a bid for Feyenoord forward Thomas Buffel.
The Belgium international is well known to both manager Martin Jol and director of football Frank Arnesen, and is looking for a move away from Dutch
football.
Feyenoord have already rejected a bid from Club Brugge, but Spurs could face competition from both Borussia Monchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund.
Buffel has been unable to find a regular starting place at Feyenoord this season after Salomon Kalou arrived at the club.
The 23-year-old is contracted to the Dutch club until 2006, but they have already admitted that his failure to agree a new deal will force them to
consider bids.
