Man Utd have got a pretty good squad, but they desperately need strenthening in the centre of midfield and up front. Now it looks like Ruud Van donkey is leaving they need someone more reliable and... well some that is actually good to play along side rooney rather than saha. Any ideas?

Rossi? Remember that blinder he played earlier on in the season (cant remember what game-think it was the burton albion second leg) also David bellion was good but when he came to west ham, he never played & I think he is a wasted talent like wright philips & other players like that, that never get played by managers!!! DAMN MOURINHIO NOW SWP CANT GO TO THE WORLD CUP!!!

I could also see man utd being interested in Reo coker for some reason???

Rossi will be good in the furure but he isn't ready yet. Bellion was supposed to be the next big thing but he has dissapointed. I suppose Reo-Coker would be a good signing. He has had a great season with west ham and he can influence games. I think Carrick would be a good candidate for the midfield role and aaron lennon could replace giggs in the next couple of years.

Its already on the grapevine that Man U are preparing bids for Rio Coker, Carrick and Lennon. I think they will sign Lennon for sure as he wants away from Spurs and a move back up north. He is a great talent and if he gets in the side for the World Cup he could be devastating.

Man United definatly need a driving force in midfield since they have lost Keane and Rio Coker would fit the bill, but West Ham have tied up all their players to long term contracts and it would take a very good price to prize any of them away.

Saha had a great season and he may well improve even furthur, but looking around the Prem and even abroad - who could they sign upfront? There is not that many available at a reasonable price.

Yeah, i think the Man Utd team need big time improvement too

As the season progressed i didnt have a clue what was going on, Giggs was playing in the centre of midfield? what was that about, was that sign of just how weak they are in the middle of the park.

I think Giggs and Ronaldo as wingers is great, both really goood at what they do. Rooney up front is fantastic and i thought Van Donkey was good too, he was a goal scoring machine until him and Fergie had there falling out and Horse face decided he wasnt going to try anymore.

Saha is alright, but i dont think hes good enough for Man Utd. Fulham did well getting the 12 million they did for him. I would imagine they will buy someone.

In defence they are well covered but for midfield, O'Shea aint the answer. I see Scholes is coming back but if they can sign a good defensive guy that would be ideal for them...

Any news on Gattuso chucking AC? i believe hes said in the past he will leave one day to join man utd?

Carrick would be good, but i cant see Spurs selling. Especially since Spurs are closing the gap between the clubs, even though they didnt get the Champs League i think Jol is doing what Wenger did with the Arsenal team way back at the start and transforming them big time. Same with Rio Coker, if hes going to cost alot of money why not spend alot of money on a bigger name player which tends to happen at the big clubs

Never realised Lennon wanted out, but he would go to Man Utd to sit on the bench you wuold imagine with the wingers they have

Any ideas what Man Utd have to spend?

I think that Defoe could be good. I think he is under-rated and is clearly unhappy at Tottenham

Ledley King could do the defensive job for united but tottenham won't want to let him go

I remember big Fernando Torres kept getting linked with Chelsea earlier on in the season and a deal never happened. He is a big powerfull player who no doubt would be good, i think there might be a bidding war on him if they wre to make a move.

Yeah, Defoe might end up leaving.... it looks like Spurs are going to sign a striker and Defoe does not seem to be 1st choice. Am sure a move to Man Utd he would be interested in

i really think that defoe is a good player but i dont think that he is a really consistant player this is what man united need in a striker

How much do you think Fernando Torres would cost? Chelsea seem as though they are about to sign Shevchenko so they finally have a player that can score. I don't think anyone willcatch them next season

Defoe would be a great signing, he didn't exactly play every game last season and with the service he would get at Man U he would score lots of goals. Ferguson would have to teach him not to be so greedy though as thats his only downfall..

He can be quite greedy but on his day he can be one of the best strikers in the premiership

Manchester United are ready to enter the race for French starlet Franck Ribery. The Marseille winger has made little secret of the fact he wants to leave in recent days, following the departure of coach Jean Fernandez.

Skysports

Would be a great signing if they could pull it off. I've seen him play and he does look really good. Watch him in the World Cup and see...

hmm.. i aint heard of this guy.

would you rate him as good as Ronaldo or Giggs TRD? still, good competion and they let Fortune go, who might be becoming a Celt, the guy aint good enough for Man Utd reserves and we are gonna snap him up, a joke!

Will watch out for him
