Manchester United have reportedly made their move to sign Everton's Thomas Gravesen.

The Reds, FA Cup flops against Exeter on Saturday, have been linked with the Danish midfielder during the past couple of months.

And according to the Sunday Express they made contact with his agent - former Old Trafford star John Sivebaek - last week.

Gravesen is out of contract in the summer and United have made it clear they'll compete for his signature if he rejects a new Goodison deal and leaves for free.

The Dane, a revelation in Everton's superb first half of the season, is likely to be offered a new deal by the Toffees, worth around 40,000 a week.

But that still might not be enough to keep him on Merseyside.

Don't know if Man United will follow up on the rumors, the board said there was no more money to sign players a little while ago. After they bought Rooney..

i cant see it happening, unless players like kleberson, djemba djemba, fortune and possibly a few others go out the door

though, maybe they would wait till the summer and try get him on a free

They could be persuading him to sign a pre-deal so he can sign in the summer like you say rynaldo. I can't understand though why he wants to go with Everton doing so well.
