Forgotten man Darren Fletcher insists he still has a big part to play at Manchester United.
With all the chopping and changing Sir Alex Ferguson has been forced into this season, most United fans are scratching their heads in bewilderment as
to why Fletcher has been limited to just four first-team appearances this season.
The 20-year-old Scot was one of the revelations of last season, forcing his way into United's FA Cup final starting line-up on the back of his
brilliant performance against Arsenal in the semi.
But when the Gunners visit Old Trafford on Sunday, Fletcher will have to be content with a bench spot at best.
There has been no word from Sir Alex Ferguson as to why the Edinburgh-born player he would have handed a debut to at just 16 had the FA not blocked
the move because Fletcher was still at school, has been so sparingly used.
