Roy Keane has admitted Manchester United are in danger of losing the fear factor.

After a decade of challenging for the Premiership title right to the latter stages, the Old Trafford club surrendered their crown to Arsenal with over a month of last season's campaign remaining and have so far collected just five points from their opening four games this term.

A massive injury list, plus the on-going suspension of Rio Ferdinand are legitimate reasons for their current problems but, with Arsenal and Chelsea both riding high at the top boasting 100% records, anything other than victory at third-placed Bolton on Saturday would see United's chances being virtually written off.

In seasons gone by, Sir Alex Ferguson and his side have responded to challenges like that with relish. But as Keane points out, times have begun to change.

The look on the guy, on the right, looking to the left cracks me up.

a few seasons ago i think they where the team where you thought, we aint got no chance of beeting them. although, i think more teams are thinking, we can do it.

like chebob said, when the players are back, they will improve, they will have to click straight away though

that guy in the right of the picture is the 2nd keeper, Roy Carrol.

In my opinion, he is much better than Howard. In the last few games carrol played they had a string of clean sheats. Howard has got Tourettes, and I know its silly but I've seen it affec him during the match, and I think it's making him too unpredictable under pressure.

I would disagree. Howard is THE best keeper in the premier league. Look at all the keepers and there isn't no better than him. It is a shame about his condition but i bet it is funny when there is a corner and he is shouting out stuff I bet the opposition thinks he is giving it to them....

it is funny sometimes, seeing his head snapping back and for and his mouth snapping, especially when he's defending a free kick or a corner, lol. He is exceptinal, but Roy Carrols form I think should warrant him a more regular starting place.
