Liverpool: Murphy wants new deal

Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy is determined to prove to new Reds boss Rafa Benitez he deserves a new contract.

The former Crewe man admitted he fears for his future at Anfield as he has only two-years left on his current contract.

Murphy failed to hold down a regular place in the side last season and he knows he must prove himself if he is to win a new deal.

I think he is a good player and he should get his new deal. Liverpool fans might say otherwise but he has been good for them.

Saying that i think Spurs have had a bid for about 3 mill accepted for him.!!
