West Ham United: West Ham target De Jong

West Ham United are being tipped to firm up their interest in Ajax starlet Nigel de Jong this month. De Jong seems certain to head out of the Amsterdam ArenA in January, having revealed he does not intend to extend his expiring contract. Ajax are looking to secure a fee for the midfielder in January rather than lose him for nothing in the summer.
