West Ham United: Pardew eyes Pele

West Ham are believed to have joined Newcastle in taking a look at Belenenses defender Pele. Reports in Portugal have suggested a bid in the region of 2.5 million euros would be enough to tempt Belenenses into a sale. West Ham boss Alan Pardew is keen to strengthen his defence and could see the uncompromising stopper as an ideal option.

After all these months it looks like we are still interested in him, he has a buy out clause in his contract, so if it is met then he could sign before the window shuts.

They have been looking at him again plus about 3 other defenders, but Pardew doesn't seem to have made his mind up on who he wants. He must be spoilt for choice lol.
