West Ham United: Repka signs, and a new defender on the way?

West Ham United are aiming to tie up a deal for Portugal Under-21 international Jose Castro. The Academica defender has emerged as a target for the Hammers . They have to wait a few days to speak to the chairman, but it looks like they are going to push the boat out in signing him. He is 22 and does look a promising player, if we do get him and what with Repka signing a new deal, the defence and the goalkeeper positions are starting to look a bit better.
