New Blackburn signing Robbie Savage has revealed he snubbed a late approach from Everton to move to Ewood Park.

Savage finally made the move to Blackburn from Birmingham on Wednesday after weeks of haggling.

The Welshman insists the chance to work with his former national team manager was the major factor in his decision to join Blackburn.
