Everton: Everton trial Lens starlet

Everton have handed a week's trial to Lens starlet Guillaume Plessis.

The powerful midfielder has left for Merseyside with Lens' blessing and Goodison boss David Moyes will run the rule over a potential transfer target.

Moyes is looking at ways of strengthening his squad although Plessis would surely be somebody for the future, rather than an immediate first team option.

The 19-year-old has yet to make his Ligue 1 breakthrough but is highly regarded at Stade Felix Bollaert.
