Leon Osman is continuing discussions to sign a new contract at Everton.
The midfielder has been one of the stars of the season for The Toffees, playing a huge role in helping the team to third spot in The Premiership.
He has forced his way into David Moyes' side on a permanent basis, with his loan spell at Derby County last season helping him to establish himself at
Goodison Park.
His progress has prompted Everton to commence negotiations regarding an extension to the 23-year-old's deal, which is due to expire at the end of the
season.
Osman is keen to stay on Merseyside and his agent Jonathan Barnett has confirmed the player's priority is to ink a new deal, if the terms are
suitable
