Thery are saying that because they signed Ballack that he was surplas to requirements.

I cant see the logic in that, he has been a great player for Chelsea over the seasons he has been there. He is one of the most complete strikers i have seen play in recent years and always did well wherever they played him.

Also to sell him to i would say their biggest rivals on the Euro stage might have been a big mistake.
