Chelsea: Lyon Drogba swap deal?

Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas admits he would consider Didier Drogba should Chelsea offer the powerful forward in exchange for Michael Essien.

However, the Lyon supremo remains sceptical as to whether Jose Mourinho would sacrifice the former Marseille favourite to ensnare the powerful Ghana midfielder.

Aulas is confident Essien will stay for at least another year and then in principle, a move to Stamford Bridge could materialise should both parties concur on a deal.

I reckon they would want him aswell. Drogba hasn't exactly been a massive hit at Chelsea and they might consider it.

Not sure about this, even if he has bottomless pockets he wouldn't want to take that much of a bath on Drogba.
