Chelsea: Cole hits back at long ball claims

Chelsea winger Joe Cole has hit back at claims that the Premiership leaders only have a long-ball style of play.

The England international was responding to comments from their UEFA Champions League opponents Bayern Munich ahead of Tuesday's quarter final second leg in Germany.

Cole's England team-mate Owen Hargeaves suggested that their tactic of playing long balls up to Didier Drogba proved to be the difference in last week's 4-2 first leg win for The Blues at Stamford Bridge.

They should get some tapes of all their games this season and maybe they will retract from what they said..

They used the right tactics against them for that one game, that shows how good the team, manager is and how much homework they did on the opposition. Sounds like sour grapes to me....
