Robert Huth has stated that he is prepared to leave Chelsea after finding a first team place hard to come by under Jose Mourinho.

The German stopper revealed that the Blues boss was reluctant to allow him to depart in the January transfer window, although now seems intent on furthering his career away from Stamford Bridge.

Newcastle United and Bayern Munich have both been credited with an interest in the 20-year-old, who has made an open declaration that he is angling for a move.

it sounds like hes tried the best he can, and its still not good enough, with bridge missing too, gallas moves to left back, and there still no way huth can get in.

its likely they will add in the summer to..to defense

Bayern Munich have confirmed they want to sign Chelsea defender Robert Huth at the end of the season.

Huth is a target for the Bavarian giants after failing to establish himself as a regular in the plans of Blues boss Jose Mourinho.

The centre half recently admitted he is open to offers after conceding he wants to boost his international prospects.

I wouldn't be surprised if he left, i have seen him play a few times and he doesn't look that bad. Mourinho doesn't seem to fancy him otherwise he would be in the side all the time.

Bayern Munich managing director Uli Hoeness has admitted the German giants will only be able to sign Chelsea's Robert Huth on loan.

Bayern have made the powerful centre back one of their top summer targets and recently made an enquiry to Stamford Bridge in a bid to sign the 20-year-old.

Although Huth is frustrated with a lack of first team football in London and is keen to press his claims for a place in Jurgen Klinsmann's World Cup squad, Jose Mourinho has no intention of allowing the youngster to leave permanently.

Bayern Munich target Robert Huth insists he is happy to fight for his place at Chelsea.

Huth has been the subject of firm interest from Bayern, with the German giants keen on signing him in the summer.

The 20-year-old is well down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and Bayern hope to lure him away with the promise of regular first team football.

When i said he doesn't look that bad, i meant just that. He isn't world class or even a great player, just not bad. Maybe he will improve with regular football. I can't see why there is such a big fuss about him, i would get rid....

He hasn't shown me why there is a few teams after him. The money for him won't matter to Chelsea as they don't really need it. I expect Chelsea to have a bit of a clear-out in the summer and he could well go then.

he is a buy guy, looks strong and stuff but i thought against bayern he looks a bit clumsy at times.

i cant see him ever commanding a first team slot though

After the quarters they are not keen on him anymore, but wait and see.
