Bolton Wanderers: Sam in Fadiga praise

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has praised Khalilou Fadiga after his recall to the Senegal national side.

Allardyce is delighted by the players work ethic in battling back from a heart defect that kept him out of the game for a lengthy spell.

Fadiga has now forced his way into first team reckoning at Reebok Stadium - and has been rewarded for his form with a recall to the national side.

with al his health issues/problems and it looked like he would have to give up football. he stuck at it and getting a call up and playing for bolton shows you how determined he was to get playing

Bolton Wanderers have taken up an option to extend Khalilou Fadiga's contract at The Reebok Stadium. Fadiga only signed a short-term deal at Bolton when he arrived last September. Despite his time in Lancashire being interrupted by his health problems, with a major heart scare threatening to end his football career, Bolton have been impressed enough to take up the option in extending his contract.

maybe when he signed it was a short term deal cos they wrent sure if it would work out? i think at inter, there was issues with his heart.

but since hes came through this well, they feel he can play a part in the team and get a new contract
