Bolton midfielder Ivan Campo received good news on Sunday afternoon when an X-ray showed no break to his cheekbone.
The 30-year-old had to undergo plastic surgery to repair a muscle injury underneath an eye socket after a collision of heads with team-mate Gary Speed
during Saturday's win over Crystal Palace - but Campo should be back in action in a fortnight's time.
The former Real Madrid player had to be replaced midway through the first half of the Reebok Stadium clash, leaving the pitch with blood dripping from
his face onto his shirt.
But he has escaped serious injury, much to the relief of Bolton boss Sam Allardyce.
