Arsenal: Arsenal sign starlet?

Reports are saying that they have signed 19 yr old Vassiriki Diaby from Auxerre. He is a player in the Viera mould and looks a great prospect. Its being reported that a 4 year deal has been struck but Arsenal have yet to confirm any deal has taken place.

i dont know this guy, maybe he had he heard Pompey were out looking for players and told them that striker was good, and he moved and bought the guy who was good lol.

But French players, Wenger dont get it wrong with young guys and what did he do, spend 500k to get Vieria from Milan who was a young guy too. Although in the middle of the park there is Flamini who i thought was the Vieria replacement?

Well i'm surprised they bought young players again to be honest. Didn't Wenger say thats where he made mistakes and he's gone out and done it again. I'm not saying these guys won't be any good, but the Prem is a hard league to play in, no matter how good a prospect you are.

Yeah, well they signed Theo Walcott aswell from Southampton for 12mill i think it was. Another rising star, but he was playing for the Saints and he is not even 17 yet, how long before he gets in the Arsenal side?

i aitn seen him yet, i heard he supposed to look a good player though, i guess that means hes lighting quick?

remember they signed Pennant, who was like 16 at the time and cost them quite alot, though it was only maybe 3 million compared to this huge sum now. and he didnt make it there.

am not sure when he will play, hes goign to get games, am sure of that but Wenger doesnt know what formation to play these days. his 4-5-1 doesnt win games

Yeah, he does look good and is pretty damm fast. I think he has moved too soon, he could have waited and learned a bit more. I've seen him a couple of times on the TV, but i don't agree with the papers and what Wenger is supposedly saying, that he is Arsenals 'Rooney' .

how come Chelsea didnt get him? is it talk radio? were saying about if it was Chelsea bidding against Arsenal Southamton would accept the Chelsea bit cos its more money

the guy arsnel singed, the big guy, he is just like Vieria. Give it a few years and it will look like its the same guy.
