Philippe Senderos is hoping his impressive Arsenal form will keep Sol Campbell out of The Gunners' starting line-up. The Swiss international has filled in superbly during Campbell's absence, including in Saturday's FA Cup semi-final success over Blackburn. However, Campbell is nearing full fitness following a two-month injury lay-off and could return for Arsenal's top-of-the-table clash with Chelsea.

That would be some feat if he managed to do that.

Thing is Campbell has been out for so long would you risk him if this guy is doing so good?

yer. true what you are saying Sir.

the other thing though i feel, if he plays a stinker and arsenal get beat, he will get heavy critism for not playing cambell.

i remember a while back, there was talk sendors stinked, do you think cos hes a had run in the time hes got better?

I think a player does improve the more they play. If he is thrown on as a sub from time to time then it doesn't show a true reflection of their ability. On the training pitch they do show they are worthy but its nothing like playing a real match. The more he plays the more he will gel with the side which he seems to be doing. But Campbell is the jewel in the crown so to speak and i guess he will get his spot back. Its not fair though as this guy seems to be playing right on top of his game and to get pushed out isn't right. He must think what else do i have to do and then players want to leave and they wonder why. Campbell must wait for his chance and win his place bask, not just stroll into the side.

On the way he is playing, he should keep his place. But its not about that, its about who is the bigger name. Campbell will more than likely stroll back into the side.

after seeing him today, i think he has greatly improved, i think getting that run in the team has really helped and looks like just like toure, has came on leaps and bounds.

i wonder if campbell will walk back into the team for the start of next season

Senderos played superb in the FA Cup final and it will be hard to drop him now.

i think with arsenal, especially under wenger its always going to be the 2 central defenders, and Toure i think he will get his games cos he has improved immensly too.

toure and campbell used to be the central pairing and they did well, but sendoros, has improved greatly too.

i think at the start of the season it will be the toure and campbell partnership but i reckon that will be cygan on the fringes even more so
