Aparently i read today Arsenal are going to test Citys financial position by offering £10m for Sean Wright Phillips. How much of a boost would that be if he came to Highbury, however one stumbling block is those dictators from Stamford Bridge, they are also in the market for him

hehe.. i think chelsea will be after Joaquin, the link with Owen recently makes me think they do want a pace player. and Wright Philips is that.

I think Pearce will want to hold onto him, he is still learning about the team and who to pick.

to arsenal, i think its a big boost but will som1 be shipped out to make way? there reyes who comes in at left wing. and there reyes and freddie?

how would this work?

2 into 1 doeesnt work, the more likely to leave is reyes, i just dont think he is totally settled in england despite his obvious talent.

Back to wright phillips, do u rekon his dad, the ultimate legend of arsenal fc would maybe swing his decision?

yer, i think if any1 is going to leave, its going to be Reyes.

if it did happen. arsenal would still have loads to spend on new players even if wright philips went.

i think wright philips is destined to a bigger club, out of the top 3. i think arsenal have the best chance of getting him, i can see ian wright saying go to man utd lol

out of the three though, looking at their make ups man utd need him the least and arsenal the most. Man Utd have ronaldo and giggs, chelsea duff and robben and we have pires and ljungberg but both are injury prone

Tottenham have already put a bid in for him but it was rejected on the grounds that he is going to stay at Man City. So if they have made there minds up then he won't be going to Arsenal or anywhere else...

It could just be a ploy to boost how much they get for him and start a bidding war though...
