Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists he has not made a bid for Porto midfielder Maniche. The Gunners have been linked with a possible move for the Portuguese international, especially if Patrick Vieira leaves the club for Real Madrid.

I guess things have been put on hold untill the Viera situation has been sorted out.

He would be a great signing for the gooners. I don't know why they are waiting they should go get him now.
