Newcastle United: Petrov in possible Toon move

Celtic ace midfielder Stillian Petrov the other day handed in a transfer request, he wants to pursue his career in another league and has said that he might team up with Martin O'Neill again which, can only mean Newcastle.

Hes also being linked with Bayern Munich too, as a replacement for Ballack who looks certain to join Chelsea

The talk is he would cost at least 5 million, there is another report saying he would cost 7 million.

I think hes a good midfielder, he is really good at getting up and down the park and does his best, can score goals and does the occasional good dive, knows how to win free kicks when is important in games now-a-days.

I guess this will add more fuel to the talk of O'Neill for the Toon Army!
