Reports from Italy have suggested that Newcastle had scouts in the crowd at Genoa's recent game with Piacenza. The subject of their observations is thought to be Argentine international Diego Milito, who has enjoyed an impressive campaign for the Serie B promotion hopefuls. Milito, widely regarded in Italy to be the best striker outside of Serie A, has been linked with a string of top clubs in the past - including both Milan giants and Juventus.

Well they are looking for a striker and they havn't had any luck so far in finding one. All of a sudden no-one seems to want to go to Newcastle..
