Portsmouth: Andres D'Alessandro

Benfica appear in a strong position to land Andres D'Alessandro despite Harry Redknapp's optimism that Portsmouth are still in the chase for his signature. I thought they actually signed him and he did look a good player. Redknapp tried to sign him when he was the manager at Upton Park but the board thought 3mill or so was too much for him.

I don't think Redknapp will let him slip away again now that he has money to spend.
