pompey have rejected a move for midfielfer Faye


Skysports.com can reveal Portsmouth have rejected a bid from Birmingham for Amdy Faye.

Birmingham are searching for midfield reinforcements with Robbie Savage looking set to leave for Blackburn.

Blues see Faye as an ideal replacement for Savage and are believed to have tabled a �1.5 million bid for the former Auxerre man which has been rejected by Portsmouth.
