Portsmouth: Wapenaar to leave Pompey

Harald Wapenaar's Portsmouth nightmare is coming to an end as Pompey confirmed that he will be leaving to join Vitesse Arnhem.

The Dutch shot-stopper has had a torrid time with the South Coast outfit, having made just eight appearances over the course of two seasons since arriving from Utrecht.

The summer arrivals of Jamie Ashdown and Andre Guatelli meant that the 34-year-old was pushed even further down the pecking order, and things have not improved since new boss Velimir Zajec took over the reins.
