"So we are not quite sure whether this is the way we are going to go.

"But we have a man who, as far as I'm concerned, can match any manager.

"He knows the game inside out, understands the players and understands what any ambitious club needs."

To be honest when a new manager comes in it can go either way..

They lose a few games to start untill the side adjusts to the new manager and backroom staff, maybe a couple of new players and reserve players getting a chance. So once the dust settles they start to pick it up gradual.

On the other hand the team gets a moral boost and go a little run, now that might be a great instant fix but its never sustained. All the most successfull managers have done it over years.

Look at Wenger, Ferguson, O'neil, Clough ect... They did it over a period of years and they are still doing it except Cloughie (RIP). They never won straight off or was an instant success.

The exception to the rule is Chelsea as they could go out and buy a new team tomorrow...and the next and the next.........

I'm not saying this guy won't be any good, but lets see what happens if he is made manager and how he does over the next 5 or six games. They got beat at the weekend so thats the first loss...

Yeah we did get beaten unfortunately but we totally dominated Arsenal in the 2nd half and we unlucky not to equalise.
