European: Deco banned for 'Hair-Pull'

Midfielder Deco has been handed a two-match ban for pulling an opponent's hair during Sunday's league match with Athletic Bilbao. Deco pulled Carlos Gurpegi's hair when the Bilbao midfielder tried to pick him up off the pitch - following a foul - by tugging at his shirt in the closing minutes of Barca's 2-1 victory at the Nou Camp.

But the Spanish Football Federation said it had decided not to take action against Barca striker Samuel Eto'o for spitting at defender Unai Exposito in the same match, nor against Bilbao coach Javier Clemente for his comments on the incident.

alright, hair pulling is quite sore and it aint accetable on a football pitch, but hes getting banned while Etoo spits and gets away with it and the same with the manager guy, sounds like the ref didnt know what to do in that match

Yeah sounds like the ref really lost his way, spitting is the worse thing to do. If Deco wanted to act like a biatch and pull the guys hair, its not that bad, unless he swung him about by it lol..
