Borussia Dortmund are to revive their interest in signing PSV Eindhoven's Mark van Bommel after raising new transfer funds from their sponsors.
A deal for the Dutch international collapsed in the summer because of Dortmund's increasing debt, but a new scheme has been devised with sponsors to
raise the 1.8 million euros asking price.
Van Bommel's contract with PSV expires in the summer, but BVB are keen to get their priority transfer target before then with the winter transfer
window offering the next opportunity for a deal to be struck.
The Dutch midfielder has already gone on record to state his desire to move to the Bundesliga side and followed Dortmund's last home game from the
stands of the Westfalen Stadium.
