Espanyol have decided against signing former Liverpool winger Bernard Diomede.

The French winger is currently a free agent having left Ajaccio at the end of last season. He has been searching for a new club this summer and joined up with Espanyol for a trial earlier this week.

To be honest i didn't rate him that much when he was at Liverpool. I don't know how well has done since he left but if i was Keegan i would forget him lol!

He's a mercenary, doesn't seem to care about the game never mind playing it. A club would have to be stupid to sign him.

bolton could be interested in siging him. he hopes so

Former France international Bernard Diomede is hoping to revive his career with Bolton Wanderers.

Diomede has been training with The Trotters this week and featured in a behind-closed-doors game on Thursday.

The 30-year-old is now waiting to discover if his performances in training have been strong enough to warrant a short-term contract offer from the Premiership side.

Bolton will take anyone on, but they do seem to get the best out of them.

the thing with this guy is. big sam knows he was a dud at liverpool so he knows what he is getting compared to many of the over seas players he buys.

am sure if he doe join them. that Big Sam knows a role for him. he had pace. i rembmer they had a guy called yves andre of something from france. wasnt the best player and often came on as a sub. he would get the ball on the left and was good at pushing up the park with the ball. wasnt really skillfull, just good at what he did. maybe diomede with pace is get the ball. break as fast as you can. would be a good counter attacking player
