European: Rommedahl eyes Premiership

Denmark winger Dennis Rommedahl has revealed that he would relish a move to the Premiership.

Speaking after the 0-0 draw with Italy, he told BBC Sport: "It would be nice to try something else.

"I have been at PSV for eight years now so the door is open and Eindhoven do know that."

Asked whether he could be playing Premiership football next season, Rommedahl said: "Maybe - if the right offer comes in, you just never know."

The lightning-fast forward has been linked with numerous Premiership clubs and was in excellent form against Italy.
