Coca-Cola Divisions: Tessem to leave?

Swedish side IF Elfsborg have joined the chase to sign out of favour Southampton striker Jo Tessem.

The Norwegian is currently on loan at FC Lyn and is widely expected to sign a permanent deal for the Oslo outfit, but confirmed that he has talked to sports director Stefan Andreasson.

If Tessem does decide on a move to Elfsborg he will be reunited with former Southampton team-mate Anders Svensson - who will return to the Boras club at the end of the season.

i think under redknapp era there is going to be players going out and he will be one, it looks like hes set on moving so why keep him when he aint going to feature much.

i cant see him getting ahead of crouch and phillips, and there is omerod too, and i can imagine redknapp has a list of players no1 has ever heard of before lying around wanting to sign them lol

The three strikers you mentioned will all leave in the summer.

Just one of many that could and most prob will be off. One thing they have to look at is that quite a few players have been at the club for awhile now. As they have been in the prem for some time there wages will be quite decent and they won't be able to pay them as much in the Championship League.

Very true, alot of lower end clubs have clauses in players contract that allow a 10% reduction in wages if the club is relegated though so that could save some money there.
