Bryan Robson has insisted that Kanu is still part of his plans at West Brom. The Nigerian marksman was thought to be heading out of The Hawthorns after the arrival of Kevin Campbell from Everton. Robson also has the likes of Robert Earnshaw, Geoff Horsfield and Rob Hulse on the books, but that does not signal the end for Kanu. Despite reports of the former Arsenal man leaving the club, Robson insists he still has a part to play in keeping them in the top flight.

Yeah he is a good player to keep, one of the best they have got. I can't understand why they would want to let him go.

i think its good of him to be there, am sure kanu would have had other offers and went to a team to help them beat the drop. i think he will stay to the end of the season

aint the kind of player you can see playing first division football though

Nooo, if he left he wouldn't take a drop down. If he couldn't find another Prem club he will move back abroad..

West Brom have revealed that Kanu is free to leave the club should they suffer relegation from The Premiership at the end of the season.

The Baggies are currently fighting for their top-flight survival, but are not making the same mistakes made by others and are planning long-term.

In a bid to maintain their wage bill Kanu, who penned a three-year deal last summer, will not stay on at The Hawthorns if they fail to avoid the drop

Hehe i thought so, he won't drop down a division, i'm sure a few prem teams won't mind having him in the side.

its a shame, imagine kanu dribbling by 4 or 5 players in the Championship division

Oh yeah he would be awesome in the championship and there will be tons of clubs willing to take him, but its the player. He will never do it in a million years.

it seems like intrest in him has cooled recently, with WBA looking like they are going to go down, is it looking like hes going to stay?

am thinking, if they did go down, do they need him to get back up?

I'm not suprised they isn't any interest he is lazy and is not the type of player a club like Brom can start with, you need fighters like Horsefield when you are scrapping for points, luxury players are no good. He doesn't score enough goals wither to be a main striker and away from home if you are playing one up top his work rate is not good enough.
