Rushden & Diamonds have snapped up Southampton goalkeeper Alan Blayney on a three-month loan deal.
Blayney has been allowed to leave St Mary's by new manager Harry Redknapp to gain greater first team experience.
The Northern Irish shot-stopper has featured twice for Saints this season, when Antti Niemi and Paul Smith were both injured.
He had been the regular back-up to Niemi but, with Smith now fit to take his place on the bench, Blayney has been shipped out on loan.
The 23-year-old will stay with Rushden until April 10, although Saints have inserted an instant recall clause in the deal.
