Ecuadorian striker Ivan Kaviedes is set to leave Crystal Palace.
The hit-man has failed to break into Iain Dowie's first-team plans since a summer switch from Barcelona de Guayaquil and is now negotiating his
release from The Eagles.
He is expected to agree a settlement to depart within the next 48 hours, but plans to try and prolong his career in Britain.
The 27-year-old struggled to adapt to the rigours of Premiership football and found his route to the first-team at Selhurst Park blocked by the
tremendous form of Andy Johnson - who Palace are employing in a lone striker role.
Kaviedes has, though, performed well for Palace's reserves and is hopeful of finding another club in either England or Scotland.
