Coca-Cola Divisions: Bruce admits Ricksen interest

Birmingham manager Steve Bruce has admitted an interest in Rangers defender Fernando Ricksen.

Dutch international Ricksen is out of contract in the summer and there are no signs that a new deal will be agreed in the near future.

Ricksen's agent Henk van Ginkel told skysports.com this week that Ricksen will not be heading out of Ibrox in January, but will consider all his options carefully over the next six months.

The Dutchman is comfortable playing at full back but has made a name for himself in Glasgow as a combative midfielder and his versatility is clearly an attractive proposition to Bruce.
