West Brom star Junichi Inamoto admits he needs to banish the memory of breaking his leg against England if he is to fully recover his form.
Albion's new signing played his second successive reserve-team match on Monday - a 2-1 win against Blackburn.
The 25-year-old is still troubled by the memory of the moment he suffered his hairline fracture against England in June - but believes time will prove
the best healer.
"My fear of going into 50/50 challenges will evaporate the more games I play - but I still have some concern because of the injury," he said. "I
thought I played better on Monday night. I thought I could have adapted to the speed of the game a bit better, but we were pressured more in this game
than last week.
"Against Liverpool reserves [last week], my timing wasn't really right. But I'm slowly getting the feeling for it again."
