Coca-Cola Divisions: Palace sign Aussie midfielder

Crystal Palace have signed Anthony Danze after the Australian impressed manager Iain Dowie during a recent trial.

Danze came to Dowie's attention with some impressive displays at the Athens Olympics and travelled over to London following his time in Greece.

The 20-year-old scored a cracking goal against Arsenal in the reserves and his all-round game made a real impression on Dowie.

The midfielder was available on a free transfer, having ended his association with Perth Glory, and signed a two-year contract with the Selhurst Park club on Wednesday.
