Coca-Cola Divisions: Lions cool Le Saux link

Millwall have poured cold water on speculation linking them with Southampton full-back Graeme Le Saux.

The Lions are known to be in the hunt for a left-back but newspaper reports linking them with the former England defender appear wide of the mark.

A club spokesman said: "I am not aware of any approach by the club for Graeme Le Saux.

"We have made no secret of the fact we are looking to bring a left-back into the club and that search will continue, but Graeme Le Saux is not a target."

Millwall manager Dennis Wise and Le Saux played together at Chelsea, prompting the latest bout of speculation, as the Lions look to replace Robbie Ryan who left the New Den in the summer.
