Boxing: tyson raps in rome

it's too bad sometimes that we don't have a forum for "just plain weird", i think that this story would make it big there, mike tyson was invited to a music festival in rome and sang a few bars of "volare" for the crowd..after brushing the promoters hand off his knee he was told that he was a "beautiful person" i think that this is one of those storys where you really had to be there to fully appreciate

He didn't have very nice things to say about the US judicial system.

Mike Tyson criticized the U.S. justice system and said "lies" sent him to prison for three years for rape, during an appearance on Italian television.

The former heavyweight champion, who was convicted in 1992 of raping an 18-year-old beauty pageant contestant in Indianapolis, was a guest at a popular Italian music festival.

He said many of America's inmates were convicted unjustly.

"The United States, essentially, is an industry that just wants to put people in jail. They just keep building prisons," he said.
