Exciting welterweight's Kermit Cintron and Antonio Margarito could be set to meet in April.
The pair will headline at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on February 18, and should they emerge victorious, a meeting in the spring could well be on the cards.
Vicious puncher Cintron will defend his WBO-Interim welterweight crown against veteran Steve Martinez in the 12 round main event, while the teak-tough Margarito defends his WBO title against Carlos Baldomir in the 12 round co-feature.
The bouts will be broadcast live in the US on the Feb 18 edition of ESPN2's "Friday Night Fights Main Events Special".
Cintron 24-0 (22) has knocked out 13 of his last 14 opponents, and last time out produced a career-best display to stop the capable Teddy Reid in eight rounds.
